Larry McFadden Ministries, Inc. now exists to train pastors in third world countries who have little or no Bible college or seminary. We train them in basic doctrine, discipleship, evangelism, mentoring, pastoral leadership, and scripture memory.
In the last 3 years, our ministry focus has been on housing and feeding pastors in remote places for 5 days of teaching and discipleship. We work with local coordinators that we have developed relationships with over the years. Some of these men have been working with us for 10 years or more.
Our ministry goal is based on II Timothy 2:2: "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will be qualified to teach others." Our desire is that our ministry produces multiplication, which will impact future generations.
For 2012, we have already projected 8 trips and 16 conferences in places like Haiti, Ethiopia, Liberia, Uganda, Kenya, and Ghana.
Since this is a faith ministry, we trust God for the finances to underwrite these conferences. Most of the time, we can house and feed a pastor for about $10/day. That means that we can teach 100 pastors for a week for about $5,000 on the average.
To train pastors for 5 days looks like this:
- 10 pastors: $500
- 20 pastors: $1,000
- 50 pastors: $2,500
- 100 pastors: $5,000
